Detect wildfires earlier in remote areas

A timberland investment management company needed to detect fires in remote areas of its managed forests in a timely manner to help protect timber resources.

We developed an early warning system to detect the initiation of a wildfire within 24 hours whose progress can then be tracked by tasking high resolution satellites to visit the location up to seven times a day.
